Me not posting on site for a while, been suffering the "Winter Blues", now the nights are drawing out and the "SUN" is shining, and "Palace" are at last showing their metal, life is returning to normal. As you might understand, because of my circumstances, I did find Christmas & New Year a very hard time to be alone for the first time in forty six years, I now know what many others have had to endure in the past. However life has to go on, time eases many pains, it,s always been a great help to have friends from way back in the "Bambi Club" the "Army" and other institutions, so thank you all, I say this also, I,ll never be far away, you wont get rid of me that easy, whatever the future holds for me
As regards Aston Villa Gordi, "BE AFRAID"
Best wishes to you all, Pete.
Ps, I did watch the wolves match, I savoured the moment in time, we gave them a hiding, Crystal Palace have sadly, many more problems of the pitch, than on _________________ "The Eagles Are Landing Soon"

Hi Pete,
nice to see you back,we understand how you felt at Christmas,I know how I would feel without my Di.
I also watched the game Wolves were completely outplayed not in the game until they went three down then they started playing the ball about, too late after that wonderful hat trick.
I have no need to feel afraid IF the Eagles get passed the Villa they probably come up against West Brom in the next round.
anyway good luck and keep you pecker up,hope to see you sometime this year
best wishes,

Hi Pete
Eagles 2 Villans 2
Your team were unlucky not to win their tactics were spot on,enjoyed the game very much, now looking forward to the replay, the winners of this game to play West Brom when they have beaten Reading, which is what I forecast,
good luck _________________ Roam from home

Aston Villa 3 Crystal Palace !
Eagles played well and deserved better but the two penalties given away by their defence were woeful.
Villa now play Reading who beat West Brom 3-2 I fancied the Baggies to go all the way this time, but we still have Villa,Birmingham and Stoke to represent the Midlands in the compitition _________________ Roam from home

Paul Hart as manager - a wise move, financially, and ability wise. _________________ A child of five would understand this. Send someone to fetch a child of five.
